Learning is a process of retention of knowledge either by repetition, recitation, and demonstration. There are multiple theories related with the learning process. â€Å"Learning theories explain the complex nature of the interaction of students with their faculty, the learning environment and the subject matter† (Billings Halstead, 2016, p. 211). Every student has different ways that they learn things. Some students are auditory learners while others will be visual and tactile learners. It is the prime responsibility of the faculty to provide quality learning experiences for the students. This purpose of this paper is to develop a course curriculum that accommodates the different learning styles of the students who are experienced nurses for a leadership course. Learning Styles For an individual to learn they must be able to interpret the information effectively. Every student is unique and has different styles of learning. Faculty must be aware about the differences in learning styles and be able to accommodate all these in their teachings so that each student will understand and achieve success (Billings Halstead, 2016).
